Guest night with Hector Gilchrist

Hector-Gilchrist

An established performer on the folk scene, Hector Gilchrist has appeared throughout the British Isles, Ireland and beyond. Born in Ayrshire, he has been involved in folk music since the early days of the ‘The Folk RevivalHector sings traditional and contemporary folk ballads and is acknowledged as one of Scotland’s  finest interpreters of Robert Burns songs.

Hector’s vocal style and delivery make for relaxed listening, bringing a strong emotional element which holds the listener and conveys the depth of feeling in the storyline and melody. His repertoire contains songs traditional and contemporary, sung in his sensitive lyrical style usually with uncomplicated guitar accompaniment.

We have a LICENCED BAR with drinks at club prices, which opens with the club at 7pm.

All performances start at 7.30pm and finish at 10.45pm.
